Katie and Natalie worked together to write this beautiful Children’s song called “My Savior Put His Arms Around Me”. It’s a sweet testimony of these girls love for their Savior.
Katie and Natalie’s Story
Katie emailed me asking if I could help her transcribe some music that she and her cousin had written together. It was such a sweet experience.
Katie sent me a simple video recording of her playing the tune on the piano, and she also sent me some notes on a page with some words.
I did my best to try and figure out which words went where, and put their tune to the sheet music that you now see. I was surprised when she told me I had gotten it mostly right!
There were only a few minor changes they wanted me to make, and after a few back and forth exchanges- making some adjustments to words and music, the song was able to be submitted for a Church Music Contest they were creating the song for.
